We have once again partnered with Fundy Scoops for this fan-favourite event: the Doggie Ice Cream Social. Visit their North River location with us on Wednesday, June 24, at 6 pm with your doggie to get a free Pup Cup for your fluffy pal. Don’t have a dog? Come anyway! There will be plenty of furry friends to go around.
We acknowledge that the Truro Pride: Pride Week takes place in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship with Mi’kmaq Peoples. We are all Treaty people.
Truro Pride would also like to recognize the historic communities of African descent in the this region. Their histories, and culture are a key part of this region. For generations people belonging to these communities of African descent have experienced racism and inequities that are still present today. We will continue to listen to the Black communities and work together to amplify marginalized voices.
