Truro Pride Week 2026

June 22-27

Truro Pride Week 2026 is finally here!

From June 22-27, we’re not just celebrating Pride. We’re celebrating the 10th anniversary of Truro’s first Pride Parade! Join us on Saturday, June 27 in downtown Truro at 1pm for the 10th annual Truro Pride Parade. Afterwards, come down to Civic Square for drag performances, music, dancing, games, vendors, food, arts & crafts, and a bouncy house for the kids!

We are also holding Pride events throughout June throughout Colchester County, including Tatamagouche, Stewiacke, and Portapique. Interested in what’s going on through? Check out our events calendar for more info!

2026 Truro Pride Parade Route

The 2026 Truro Pride Parade will follow a similar route as previous years.

It begins on Lorne Street around 1pm with a sensory-friendly zone along Lorne until turning right onto Queen Street. The parade wraps around Commercial Street with another sensory-friendly zone within the Queens Business Centre (3rd floor, board room). The parade continues with a left onto Prince Street, stretching across downtown Truro’s busiest street until it takes a right onto Inglis Street, which will feature a kid’s fun area this year. After turning onto Esplanade Street, the parade will take a right onto Forrester Street and conclude at Civic Square.

Have any questions about the parade route? Please feel free to email us at info@truropride.ca. You can also stay up-to-date about the Parade and Fun Day through our Facebook and Instagram

Pride 365

A fundamental principle of Truro Pride is the movement towards 365 Days of Pride. Pride parades are a time of celebration and expression, but our pride doesn’t disappear after Pride Week is over. We work with local officials and organizations to help Colchester County become a more inclusive and accepting region. We host regular events to bring the community together and give space to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Check out our calendar for events and days of celebration.
