Event Coordinator
Compensation: $14.50/hour – 35 hours per week
Duration: 12-week term
The Event Coordinator will assist with the planning and execution of events including social media marketing, material design and creation, and corporate engagement and outreach. They will play an integral role in supporting the implementation of 2023 Pride Week festivities, along with educational and community building events. Our goal is to employ folks that are reflective of the diverse community that we serve. We welcome you to identify as a member of an underrepresented group. Marketing Assistant
Compensation: $14.50/hour – 35 hours per week
Duration: 12-week term
The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for website updates, social media posts, material design and creation, assisting in event planning, corporate engagement, sponsorships and donations, and outreach activities. Our goal is to employ folks that are reflective of the diverse community that we serve. We welcome you to identify as a member of an underrepresented group. All candidates must meet these eligibility requirements to be considered:
- be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment, and
- have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
